So there was a raid in a casino called artichoke joes casino here in my town of san bruno ca. For shark loan and drugs so anyway the founder of this casino was asked in the 1920's his early days of operation how he would pay if he lost a big bet. He said "In artichoke leaves," what did he mean with that?
