Why is he always in my dreams?

Ok, so there's this guy I like and I've liked him for several months now, and now all the sudden he's in every dream I have.Let's call him Bob for now. Like one time, I was at a carnival and on a ride that's supposed to make you sleepy, and a guy walks up to go on the ride and it looks a lot like Bob but then when he gets closer I realize it's not him. I got really upset only to find that Bob was sleeping on my lap the whole time. I've had a lot of dreams where he appears but the dreams aren't always about Bob, but he always appears in them. What do you think this means?
