Complicated family can i ask my brother give me away at my wedding?

when i was 4 years old my dad walked out of my life and my mums i had 7 older brothers and we were all really close dad leaving screwed everything up but we managed to make things work however dad didn't want us ringing his new life so didn't contact us until he was in a car crash 3 years later when he cont aced us apologising and we gave him another chance then when i was 8 my mum died from cancer so we had to move in With dad btu dad had a new wife and two perfect children his wife hated us because we were a 'bad influence' on her children so we spent a year living with aunts and uncles out of my dads life until we were took in care for 2 years dad didn't contact us or care about us then when i was 17 i had a beautiful baby boy and he wanted to be in my life again then so i forgave him and once again he walked out my life and then i fell pregnant again and has a baby girl who was still born and this time he walked back in to my life and was there when i had 2 more children then he walked out btu my oldest brother had always been there for me adn been my dad and at my wedding i want Himto give me away but i dotn want to hurt my dad
