Book suggestions for a teenage girl?

The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchet was pretty good, it's about an average brunette girl who ends up leading these dwarf things in a rebellion. So was the Secret of Platform 13 by Eva Ibbotson. My favorite book was sort of fantasy, it was the Tea Rose by Jennifer Donnelly. The Giver was also an amazing book (more sci-fi than anything, but it's really good, and a quick and easy read).
